Walk the Path

Walking towards a path
That path leading to sand
That sand leading to water
A never ending land

No limit to where it ends
Waves amongst each other, splashing and crashing
To not see them, you must pretend

Step into the water
Coldness piling up onto your skin
You must not let it interfere and bother
For that, that is a sin

Stepping further in
Getting colder little by little
A new challenge waiting for you to begin

You look up in the sky
The sun is asleep, the moon is awake
The sea waiting for you to swim and the sky waiting for you to fly

The night is darker then before
The waves trying to push you back to land even more

Halfway into the never ending sea
Waves start splashing fiercely
At this point you start to think

Thoughts going through your head
Do you swim and fly
Or get back onto land instead?

Waves trying to drown you
But going back onto land is something you must not do

Remember the stars will always look down on you
Helping and guiding you through

Through the fierce waves that will try and drown you out
But you must swim through, live and fly without any doubts

All the negativity forever sleeps.
